Collecting it all in one go is great, saves in tracking down all the individual trades. It's a fun comic, not too dour even if the subject matter can get grim. Kind of a FHM of supernatural horror comics. If that makes any sense to you. If you enjoy the show Supernatural you may like this, has quite a bit of fanservice but it just fits here.Overall a good read, a great deal, and pretty slick art.

Dead17 The Complete Collection eBook Josh Howard Reviews
I have been following this epic story since it began way back in the day, and I have to say that Josh delivered the goods with each issue. The ending is epic and the story keeps you hooked throughout... and of course there is his art is amazing. Do yourself a favor an pick this up.
Josh has created a fantastic mythos with Dead@17. The fantastic art helps to fully draw you into this wonderful world. It is easily a book you could read over and over again such as I have. If you are looking for something wonderful and magical look no further. Beautiful art + Fantastic story = Dead@17
Josh Howard's DEAD @ 17 is an epic tale comprised of many mini-series comic books culminating into a fun filled well written adventure. The artwork is simply beautiful and character development is engaging.
This series would translate well into a Television Series or Major Motion Picture as a feature length film.
I'm also a fan of Josh Howard's "Black Harvest" and "Lost Books of Eve" which are suggested readings as well.
The thing about comics (for me at least) is that they need to have at least a tiny fraction of levity to balance out the horrific or otherwise depressing side of their occasionally dark stories. Without this levity, the story becomes bogged down in rote storytelling with revolving doors or expendable characters and nothing really on it mind except how to torture the reader further (usually involving killing off one of the main characters just because). Dead@17makes this mistake simply because of its commitment to being a dark, gritty comic book with the art style of something out of Kim Possible. Sadly, this means that you basically get a comic book version of Kim Possible without any of the humor or fun characters and instead get a rather pointed and linear story about the end of the world with no irony to back it up (because everyone knows how much fun it is to hear how we're all going to die for four hundred pages). Avoid.
Captivating story mixed with incredible art work! You don't want to miss this!!
